This post shares 15 of my indoor planter DIYs to help you decorate with plants and bring the outdoors in this fall. Because the end of summer doesn’t mean the end of plants 🙂

Well, while every other blogger is sharing their fall decor and gearing up for Christmas, here I am posting about planters. Not exactly what you’d think about for fall reading on a DIY blog, but hear me out. The end of summer means the end of greenery for a lot of us.

But that doesn’t have to be the case if you bring the outdoors in via houseplants. Houseplants in beautiful planters can also be a way to complement your decor and give you the pride that goes along with saying, “not only am I keeping that plant alive, I DIY’d the planter it’s in, too.”

So sit back and enjoy 15 of my favorite indoor planter DIYs today. I hope it gets you in the mood for fall 😉

There''s going to look lovely once is begins trailing.

Solid Wood Bedside Tablehow to Solid Wood Bedside Table for Plant pots are so cheap at Ikea, so they’re fun to customize. Check out what I did to this one using paint and my Cricut machine. I think it was green to start out with? Like, lime green. Not my bag.

Sadly this one did not last long. Henry the cat was so utterly infatuated with getting inside of the bowl and getting to the plants that he knocked it over. I decided to re-home the plants in other pots instead of doing another terrarium…but it was lovely while it lasted.

This is included on my DIYs that have stood the test of time list. One of my earliest paint projects, and still one of my favorites. It looks lovely in my living room right now.

This was a fun project because I actually got to do an in-store demo at Ikea for it! It’s made only with supplies from Ikea. This one lives in my parents’ bedroom now, on their dresser.

I completed this project during the depths of pregnancy nausea. Looking for 1 last update 2020/07/04 at this thing kind of triggers nauseated feelings, which makes me feel bad because I love it!I completed this project during the depths of pregnancy nausea. These little cuties were the result of my first foray into working with concrete a few years ago. This was actually a crafting type of concrete that has filler in it to make it more lightweight.

Can’t go wrong with upcycling a tea tin. I love looseleaf teas, and when I finished the contents of this one, I knew I had to make something cute out of it. It’s the perfect home for propagating succulent pieces that need to root but aren’t quite ready for the big leagues yet.

Solid Wood Bedside Tablehow to Solid Wood Bedside Table for I have had so many compliments on this pot. It’s probably a mixture of the white on black along with the stunning snake plant in it. It’s actually painted with outdoor paint, but it’s living in our living room now.

I created this out of a scrap piece from our DIY cat tree made out of real branches. I had already stained and sealed the piece the 1 last update 2020/07/04 when we cut it off to level the tree, so I had to make something out of it. This actually holds a faux succulent, so that’s why I call it a faux planter.I created this out of a scrap piece from our DIY cat tree made out of real branches. But it still got the nod for this planter post. Why? Because it’s adorable.

I absolutely love how this modern plywood planter with hairpin legs turned out. The hairpin legs make a great touch, and you won''code-block code-block-2''margin: 8px 0; clear: both;''s why I had to turn off comments on my posts that are older than a few weeks.
